ACP Fellow Sets World Record for Having the Oldest Patient with Dental Implants

ACP Fellow Dr. Stephen Parel made history having the oldest patient on record to have dental implants, Ms. Anna Louise Rutherford who recently celebrated her 105th birthday. "It was a privilege and a pleasure to be able to provide care for Anna at 102 years of age," said Dr. Parel, a private practitioner from Dallas, Texas. "It has been even more rewarding to watch her enjoy this investment in her health and appearance for the last 3 years, and on the occasion of her 105th birthday. I sincerely hope she will be an inspiration to others who might be considering a similar procedure, but are concerned that they are too old to either enjoy or benefit from an implant transformation."
