2013 GSK Prosthodontist Innovator Awards
Sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Consumer Healthcare through an unrestricted educational grant, the goals of this sponsored research are to advance the understanding of prosthodontics-related biological and/or materials systems, human behavior, cost and care delivery, as well as economic modeling and quality of life investigations.

ACPEF Founders Society Award
The ACPEF Founders Society Award honors individuals who have made a significant impact on the growth and development of the Foundation, and have demonstrated an extraordinary level of commitment to the advancement of the specialty. Nominees must be a member of the ACP, or have demonstrated outstanding service to the specialty through the ACP and ACPEF; must have demonstrated exceptional leadership and outstanding volunteer service to the mission of the ACPEF; must be an active donor to the ACPEF with a substantive, cumulative level of giving; and must have contributed to building and growing the ACPEF.
John J. Sharry Prosthodontic Research Competition
The John J. Sharry Prosthodontic Research Competition is held during the Annual Session of the American College of Prosthodontists.
Sponsored by the ACP Education Foundation, the Prosthodontic Research Competition is held to stimulate and acknowledge original research in prosthodontics by students. The ACP Research Committee strongly encourages all programs to participate in this competition.

At the February 2013 meeting, Dr. Jonathan Ferencz was recognized for his nine years of dedicated service to the ACPEF Board of Directors. Dr. Leonard Kobren, who acted as Vice Chair, made the following statement:
